AI & Third-Party Services

We use Large Language Models (LLMs) like OpenAI for specific lookup tasks.
What we SEND: Material names (e.g., "Aluminum 6061") and process names.
What we do NOT send: Your 3D geometry, CAD files, or proprietary feature dimensions.

Community Cost Learning

When you upload Supplier Quotes, we use Federated Learning to improve global cost estimates. Data is strictly anonymized (stripping user/company IDs) and aggregated to update statistical baselines (e.g., average machine rates).

3. Data Storage and Security

Your CAD files are analyzed transiently and not stored permanently. We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share with service providers necessary to operate our platform (cloud hosting, analytics).
